Whispering Pines Camp

There are sixty beautiful acres secluded on Old Hickory Lake. The James E. Neal Lodge has 8,500 square feet and has a commercial kitchen completely stocked. Near by the James E. Neal Lodge is the secluded Leslie Duke Memorial Gazebo. This is an excellent place for meditation and provides a breath taking environment for groups to study in the natural beauty of the Whispering Pines area. The Christian Manor Pavilion is another good place for group meetings. Our camp swimming pool is open the first of June through August. The camp is located east toward Hartsville, TN off Highway 25, near the Castalian Springs community. It is approximately a 40-minute drive to camp from Hendersonville.

Camp Facilities:

  • Canoeing area with eight canoes and all safety equipment
  • Boat Ramp & Dock for easy lake access and fishing
  • Softball Field
  • Volleyball Area
  • Swimming Pool with changing rooms
  • Regulation size outdoor basketball court
  • Shuffle Board
  • Covered and Lighted Picnic Pavilion
  • Nature Trails
  • Secluded gazebo in the woods

Lodging Options:

Neal Lodge - Sleeps 36 women in bunk-bed dorm areas with restrooms and shower facilities. Air conditioned. Meals are served and lessons will be presented in this building.

The Bunkhouse - Our newest building will sleep 28 men. Also contains restroom and shower facilities. Air conditioned.

Cabins (5 available on the premises) - Each cabin sleeps 12 men or women in bunk-beds. These cabins are NOT air conditioned, however, at night in September, you will enjoy the night time temperatures! Restrooms and showers are in a separate building a short distance away*.

Tent Sites - Bring your own tent if your prefer the great outdoors. There are many areas to pitch a tent, with access to restroom facilities.
